Moments not Days

Using Vintage Cabinet cards, I have made this wall hanging. The chain is rosary type chain with chips of stones...I have altered the card using hand decorations and the quote: We don't remeber the days..we remember the moments. Colors are sepia and blues and sliver do hickies on the top.

Each spoon's bowl is filled with a hand twisted wire nest with a chache of 'eggs'..each has it's own identy and each has a magnet attached to the back for hanging.

Number one Spoon is SOLD thanks C~

Number 2 has the word HOME in old English type {from an old Hymnal} slightly tarnished and a soft blue seam binding bow.

Number 3 has a soft yellow vintage seam binding bow and the word NEST from an old dictionary in the bowl..approx 5"

Number 4 is an Aspic Spoon. With a soft yellow bow and a line from a vintage Italian book that reads: Adoration is due to God, the king of all the world. this spoon is approx 6" slightly tarnished..

Vintage Watch Crystal Pendant

Words from an old book, a vintage watch crystal,a vintage image with wings, vintage music pages and a bit of solder make up this wonderful one of a kind pendant. I have used Silver wire twisted into the hanger for hand made look. This piece is about 2 inches across.

The back of the piece is again vintage book words, a photo with wings and bingo card for the background. A chain of about 24" is included. Think of it as a 2fer1 pendant

Trying to envoke memories, thoughts and dreams. This altered card and charm is ment to make the viewer think about family, childern, dreams. The charm is altered with the word dream, swirls, smalls flowers and a vintage feel is seen on this set. The Charm photo is one out of my collection and will not be seen on anyone else art work. Wanda did...

Wanda always dreamed of Paris. She would be washing clothes and have that wistful look upon her face, Henry knew what she was thinking. Paris was the place of thier honeymoon. Paris was the place Wanda felt most at home. Paris was where she felt alive. Not that she didn't feel loved, but in her heart she felt alive in Paris. Maybe she was an artist at heart and could not let it show in that dusty Western Town they lived in now? Maybe she was a poet in her soul? Paris made her feel like she'd never felt before. Henry was glad he could give her that.
